About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified Cosmetic Product Development Chemist to design, formulate, and optimize cosmetic and personal care products. This role will involve end-to-end product development—from concept to commercial manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and test innovative cosmetic formulations.
• Evaluate raw materials and maintain supplier relationships.
• Conduct lab tests and maintain documentation.
• Perform stability testing, preservative efficacy testing, and quality checks.
• Assist in scaling formulas for mass production.
• Research industry trends, technologies, and consumer needs.
• Ensure compliance with cosmetic regulations applicable to target markets.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc or M.Sc in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in cosmetic or personal care formulation.
• Hands-on experience in emulsions, gels, serums, cleansers, haircare, or skincare formulations.
• Knowledge of cosmetic regulations and raw material safety.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification/diploma in cosmetic formulation.
• Experience in clean/organic beauty formulations.
• Experience in cost optimization and stability improvement.
