Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and consultations with internal stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in training and development.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content.
Provide coaching and mentoring to trainees to support their learning and development.
Plan, implement and oversee all the learning and development activities within a company.
Design training programs that are pertinent to certain roles or organisational goals in a company.
Ensure that learning materials and resources are easily and readily available to the learners.
Manage other aspects of learning, such as timelines and budgets, as a learning and development manager.
Assist, guide and advise employees who are undergoing training programs or who want to explore learning opportunities.
Hire learning and development specialists and be a point of contact between the company and the external trainers.
Assess the success and effectiveness of the training plans and make appropriate changes to them to further enhance their results within the scope of the learning and development manager role.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Human Resources).
Proven experience in corporate training or a related role.
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Ability to design and develop engaging training materials.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles.
Proficiency in using training software and tools.
