Job Description

You are a strategic thinker passionate about driving solutions in Corporate tax and have found the right team. As a Corporate Tax Associate in the Corporate Tax team within Global Finance & Business Management (GF&BM) India, you will support regional corporate tax teams on global tax compliance activities, including direct and indirect tax regulations such as corporate income tax and VAT/GST. Your role involves executing and managing tax compliance, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, and collaborating effectively within a team environment. - Support the Global Tax Reporting team with internal tax reporting requirements by coordinating financial data for tax rate determinations, cash tax forecasts, and group tax provisions. - Analyze and compile data to file VAT/GST tax returns, calculate tax, reconcile data, monitor tax positions, and prepare and file returns. - Collaborate with the Regional Corporate Tax team on tax audits and litigation, respond to tax authority queries, and assist in appeal submissions. - Assist in overseeing and facilitating seamless migration of tax processes for new regions. - Independently manage and review tax compliances for select locations. - Contribute to team efficiency by collaborating within the team and mentoring junior members. - Assist the Regional Corporate Tax team on tax advisory services and strategic projects. - Demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills, identify areas for process improvement, and support local entity compliance with transfer pricing policies. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - Strong knowledge in tax and accounting rules, direct and indirect tax processes, and compliance. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Team player with the ability to work collaboratively and independently on multiple tasks. - Proficiency in working with and analyzing large amounts of data. - Meticulous with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint). - Good analytical skills and ability to discuss technically with regional Corporate Tax teams. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - CA qualification preferred with 4 years of experience. - Background in financial services is an added advantage. - Team management experience is a plus. - Knowledge of automation tools (Alteryx/Tableau) or experience with Transformation projects is beneficial.,
