Job Description

  • Drive B2B corporate sales by identifying, engaging, and converting corporate clients for group and commercial insurance solutions.
  • Assess corporate insurance needs for employees and the organization, delivering tailored solutions aligned with employee benefits and business risk profiles.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of corporate prospects for group insurance (life, health, accident, property) and corporate insurance (fire, liability, data protection, fraud).
  • Collaborate with underwriting and product teams of insurance companies to create customized proposals for corporate clients.
  • Conduct consultative presentations, negotiations, and solution demonstrations for senior stakeholders such as HR heads, CFOs, and procurement leaders.
  • Lead corporate quotation processes to secure the best pricing and benefit structures for clients.
  • Work in partnership with the Corporate Sales Head and internal sales teams to drive insurance sales across the corporate segment.
  • Support capability development by imparting product knowledge and sales insights to internal teams.
  • Maintain strong post-sales relationships to ensure renewals, upselling opportunities, and long-term client retention.
  • Track industry developments, competitor offerings, and client feedback to refine the corporate sales strategy.
  • Meet assigned sales targets and contribute to the growth of the corporate insurance portfolio.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory and internal standards throughout all sales processes.

Experience Required:

  • 7+ years of experience in insurance business development, preferably in insurance broking or insurance companies.
  • Strong exposure to general insurance, health insurance, group insurance schemes, and corporate benefit structuring.
  • Experience managing corporate insurance clients and working with underwriting teams.

Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate degree in Business Administration preferred.
  • Insurance certifications such as Licentiate from III or Agent/SP qualification are an added advantage.
