Job Description

Role Summary

Corporate Legal counsel play a vital role in providing legal guidance and support to the organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in corporate law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex legal issues in a dynamic business environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide legal advice and guidance to internal teams on a wide range of issues, including contract negotiations, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations that impact the organization and ensure compliance.

Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of contracts, agreements, and legal documents, ensuring they align with the Irish's interests and comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Support and advise on corporate governance matters, including preparing board resolutions, maintaining corporate records, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements

Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations relevant to the consulting industry.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the Irish's compliance with legal requirements.

Assist in managing and resolving legal disputes, including engaging external counsel when necessary.

Participate in negotiations and settlements to protect the Irish's interests.

Conduct legal training sessions for internal teams to increase awareness of legal issues and compliance requirements.

Provide guidance on legal implications of business decisions.

Implement and maintain a contract management system to streamline the contract lifecycle and ensure timely renewals and compliance.

Collaborate with various departments, including finance, human resources, and operations, to address legal issues related to their functions.

Work closely with external legal counsel when needed.

Identify legal risks and propose strategies to mitigate them.

Conduct legal due diligence for new business initiatives.

Maintain accurate and organized legal records and documentation. y updated on content marketing best practices, SEO trends, and evolving industry standards.

Support and guide Deputy Legal Counsel in matters relating to law

Analyze and monitor the performance and quality of contents.

Education

: LLB/LLM

Experience: 4

Years & Above

Special knowledge, abilities and skills

Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction. Strong knowledge of corporate law, contracts, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutions. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. Proficient in legal research and staying updated on changes in legislation. Experience in managing external legal counsel and legal budgets.
