Job Description

As a Sales and Business Development professional, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities within the supply chain finance sector, focusing on PID, SID, vendor financing, and dealer financing. Your role will involve developing and nurturing relationships with key clients, suppliers, and third-party financial institutions. By generating new leads and showcasing the value of trade finance products, you will be instrumental in converting prospects into sales. You will be expected to create customized financial solutions for clients, aiming to optimize their working capital requirements. Promoting supply chain financing offerings will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, emphasizing the benefits of enhanced cash flow, risk mitigation, and cost efficiency to potential clients. In the realm of Product Expertise and Advisory, you will provide expert guidance to clients regarding the most suitable financing solutions tailored to their specific supply chain and business demands. Your role will involve presenting and elucidating the features of various financing products, ensuring clients comprehend the financial implications and advantages associated with PID, SID, vendor financing, and dealer financing. Staying abreast of market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory modifications in trade finance will be crucial to maintaining a competitive edge. Client Onboarding and Relationship Management will also be integral parts of your role. Guiding new clients through the onboarding process seamlessly and serving as their primary contact point for addressing queries or concerns will be paramount. Regular client follow-ups will be essential to ensure that the provided products align with their evolving requirements, fostering long-term relationships to enhance client retention and explore cross-selling opportunities. Collaboration across functions is vital in this role. Working closely with internal teams such as credit risk, legal, and operations is necessary to ensure the effective structuring, implementation, and management of trade finance deals. Collaboration with financial institutions, banks, and Fintech Partners will also be required to facilitate the smooth execution of financing transactions and the implementation of digital platforms for supply chain finance. Meeting or surpassing sales targets by consistently driving new business and maintaining existing client relationships is a key performance indicator. You will be responsible for preparing and delivering regular sales reports, performance metrics, and market analyses to senior management. Your role will also involve monitoring trends and shifts in the trade finance market to identify potential business opportunities. Supporting the development of marketing campaigns and strategies to promote supply chain finance products will be essential to your contribution to the company's overall objectives.
