Job Summary

Corporate Finance professional

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Finance & Reporting

  • Manage and analyze

    large-scale P&L

    providing monthly MIS and financial insights to senior management.
  • Perform

    GL scrutiny, reclassification entries

    , and ensure accuracy of books of accounts.
  • Prepare and review

    financial statements

    , ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Lead

    month-end and year-end closing activities

    , including accruals, amortization, and journal entries.
  • Develop

    plant-wise and entity-wise P&L statements

    with detailed variance analysis (budget vs actual).

Cost Control & Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth

    expense, consumption, and cost analysis

    to improve cost efficiency.
  • Design and maintain

    interactive dashboards

    (P&L, Purchase, Expense) using Excel / Power BI.
  • Support management with actionable insights for strategic and operational decision-making.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

  • Handle

    end-to-end GST compliance

    for multiple GSTINs, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C, and SRM returns.
  • Manage

    GST scrutiny, departmental notices

    , ASMT-10, and SCN under Sections 73/74.
  • Ensure timely

    TDS deduction, deposit, and return filing

    in compliance with statutory provisions.
  • Resolve GST reconciliations (GSTR-1 vs GSTR-3B, RCM mismatches, ITC discrepancies).

Audit & Governance

  • Support internal audits and implement control improvements.
  • Perform

    intercompany reconciliations

    across multiple branches and divisions.

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Work extensively on

    SAP (HANA), Tally Prime, Advanced Excel, and Power BI

    .
  • Drive process automation, compliance improvements, and reporting efficiency.
  • Establish and document

    robust financial and compliance processes

    across plants.

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and manage finance teams across multiple plants and locations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external consultants (auditors, tax advisors).
  • Support leadership with reliable financial data and timely reporting.
