Job Description

Experience:

Location:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop

    Coolgen programs

    within a mainframe environment.
  • Perform

    unit testing

    for generated Coolgen (both batch and online) programs; prepare detailed

    test plans

    .
  • Analyze, design, and develop

    JCLs

    and supporting

    PROCs

    in lower regions.
  • Provide

    production support

    for application jobs, identifying and resolving abends or other issues.
  • Create and maintain

    operational documentation

    for applications.
  • Troubleshoot and debug

    production issues

    , ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and smooth deployments.

Technical Skills:

  • Tools:

    CA Gen (Coolgen), JCL, COBOL, DB2, CICS

  • Platforms:

    IBM Mainframe Environment

  • Other Skills:

    Problem Analysis, Debugging, Production Support, Documentation

Preferred Candidate:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in both

    development and maintenance

    of mainframe applications.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
