Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items by following recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
• Oversee kitchen operations and manage culinary staff to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Create menus and develop new recipes, taking into consideration seasonal availability, dietary restrictions, and customer preferences.
• Order and manage inventory of food and kitchen supplies, ensuring freshness and quality of ingredients.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor food production and service to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff, including cooks and assistants, to enhance their skills and productivity.
• Specialize in a particular cuisine or cooking style, continually researching and practicing new culinary techniques.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of meals to customers.
• Adapt recipes and cooking methods to accommodate customers' dietary needs and preferences, including allergens.
• Participate in the development of promotional events and special dishes to enhance the restaurant's offerings.
• Evaluate and optimize kitchen processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
