We are looking for a skilled and reliable Home Cook to prepare daily meals with a focus on taste, nutrition, and hygiene. The ideal candidate should be experienced in home-style cooking, knowledgeable about different cuisines, and able to cater to the dietary preferences of the household. Key Responsibilities Meal Preparation Plan and prepare fresh, nutritious, and well-balanced meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks as required). Cook a variety of cuisines based on family preferences (e.g., Indian, Continental, Asian, healthy meals). Customize meals for dietary needs such as low-salt, low-sugar, vegan, gluten-free, etc. Kitchen Management Ensure the kitchen is kept clean, organized, and hygienic at all times. Manage pantry and refrigerator stocking; monitor food inventory and create shopping lists. Safely handle and store ingredients to maintain freshness and quality. Menu Planning Plan weekly menus based on dietary requests, seasonal ingredients, and household preferences. Suggest new dishes, flavors, and healthy alternatives. Food Safety & Hygiene Follow all food safety standards and hygiene best practices. Maintain proper cleaning of utensils, cooking equipment, and work surfaces. Additional Tasks (Optional/As Agreed) Prepare special meals for guests or occasions. Assist with grocery shopping or coordinate with household staff for purchasing. Meal prep for storage or next-day use. Requirements Proven experience as a Home Cook, Private Cook, or Chef in a household, restaurant, or catering service. Ability to prepare high-quality meals with consistency. Knowledge of nutrition, diet planning, and safe food handling. Good time management and ability to work independently. Flexibility with timings, menu changes, and household needs. Preferred Qualifications Experience cooking multiple cuisines. Understanding of dietary restrictions (diabetic-friendly, weight-loss meals, etc.). Ability to cook for children or elderly family members with specific food requirements.
