Purpose of the Role This role is to perform the Global CARE (Conveyor Automation Robotic Engineering) related controls tasks especially Siemens PLC program development, validation & Virtual commissioning from INDIA. Accountable for the controls-related operations in the Stellantis plants IAP zone as well. Key Job Responsibilities Work with corporate counterparts - understand the requirement and communicate effectively. Expertise in programming on Siemens TIA Portal V13 and above versions along with HMI and allied devices New programs creation in PLC, new Screens creation in HMI, link the Tags, I/Os, interlock with VFD (Siemens, SEW) and other devices Develop and improvise the existing PLC, HMI & related logics and support for the virtual commissioning activities. Hands on experience in SIMENSE PLC SIM software is desirable. Experience in ODIL software or similar simulation related tools is desirable Experience in automotive environment - Develop & implement controls solutions for body shop, paint shop, assembly shop, Battery shop is desirable. Knowledge in the IEC 61131 standard is advantage New project/program implementation/execution - Statement of Requirements preparation, controls validation, equipment build/run-off and buyoff Trouble shoot production line automation issues Communicate effectively and work in collaboration with all customers, suppliers and plant staffs Working in shifts to manage the EE & NA region timing when required. ODIL, Unified HMI experience is the added advantages Key Skills Hands-on experience in Siemens TIA Portal PLC & HMI programming. Experience in field communication Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet IE, CC Link. Hands-on in Siemens PLC SIM software platform Knowledge in SIMENSE Virtual commissioning - How to perform, input to the virtual communication. Knowledge in handling verify the E plan drawings, control panel circuits, power wirings. Software skills Siemens TIA portal, HMI softwares. Simulation softwares Python, JAVA, C Sharp & Other automation, AI skills - is added advantages Job Specification Qualification Diploma / Engineering Graduate Experience 6 - 18 years Experience at Line builder / Service provider / OEM with required skills Competencies Behavioural Skills Willingness to work in Europe time lines. Willingness to work in shifts, extending work hours, week ends (when necessary only) - Normally the work will be in General shit and 5 days work pattern Willingness to accept other job responsibilities as and when needed.
