Job Title: Control Room Operator (CRO) – Ferro Alloys Operation Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh Experience Required: 3 – 6 years (in Ferro Alloys / Submerged Arc Furnace operations) Salary Range: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month Roles & Responsibilities: Operate and monitor Submerged Arc Furnace (SAF) parameters through PLC/SCADA/DCS system. Maintain smooth furnace operation by controlling raw material charging, electrode movement, and tapping cycle. Record and analyze process parameters such as power consumption, electrode current, voltage, and furnace temperature. Coordinate with field operators, batching operators, and shift in-charge for stable production. Respond quickly to alarms, deviations, and process upsets to avoid breakdowns or safety issues. Maintain proper log sheets, shift reports, and documentation of furnace operations. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Desired Candidate Profile: Diploma / ITI in Electrical / Mechanical / Metallurgy or relevant field. 3–6 years of hands-on experience in Ferro Alloys (SiMn / FeMn) or Steel Plant furnace operations. Knowledge of PLC / SCADA-based control systems is essential. Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams. Willingness to work in shifts.
