Contracts Manager (Civil)

Job Role / Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret contract documents, tender conditions, and specifications.
• Prepare and manage contractual correspondences with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Evaluate claims for extension of time, extra items, and variations.
• Coordinate with project teams for quantity verification and bill certification.
• Assist management in risk identification and mitigation.
• Maintain and update contract records, change orders, and payment logs.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Support during tender preparation, rate analysis, and negotiation.
• Field measurement verification.

Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of contract law, FIDIC, CPWD, and PWD conditions.
• Expertise in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and project documentation.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines independently.
• Fluent in English and Hindi.

Eligibility:

• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

(M.E./M.Tech preferred)

• 5-7 years experience in contract administration, billing and project documentation (preferably in construction / infrastructure projects).
