Job Description

As a Renewal Sales Rep (RSR) at Hitachi Vantara, your primary responsibility will be managing, selling, renewing, and expanding service relationships with the customer base. You will have the opportunity to drive efficiencies, increase profitability, and improve overall renewal performance. Your role will involve engaging with internal partners such as sales teams, district managers, support teams, and customers during negotiations. Additionally, you will be expected to submit accurate forecasts to leadership and participate in team-related projects for system/process optimization. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the renewal and overall sales of services and support agreements to customers, while educating them about the value of Hitachi support services - Drive and execute quarterly and yearly targets, including individual performance targets - Understand the specificity of the local market and build strong relationships with stakeholders in your specific regions and other teams Renewal Sales closely works with - Maintain an accurate and updated forecast for leadership's review - Establish and fine-tune processes to achieve continued and expanded service relationships with the existing customer base - Assist with streamlining systems and processes to enhance automation and efficiency - Grow and leverage internal relationships with cross-functional teams and partners Qualifications Required: - 1-4+ years of experience in a service delivery-related role such as business analyst, sales support, contract negotiations, or pricing specialist; some sales-related experience preferred - Proven track record in technology-related sales or operations - Ability to work in a matrices-driven organization and build strong relationships with partner organizations - Strong written and verbal communication skills with specific experience in remote teams - Proficient English verbal and written skills - Ability to use financial/quantitative data in decision making and recommendations - Analytical reasoning, creativity, conceptual ability, critical thinking, and judgment skills - Experience with Salesforce and Oracle databases for researching accounts and uncovering renewal opportunities - Additional skills in negotiation and change management Hitachi Vantara is a global team of innovators dedicated to co-creating meaningful solutions to complex challenges.
