Continuous Improvement Manager

Role Overview: As a Continuous Improvement Manager at Hitachi Energy in Maneja, India, you will be part of the Transformers Business Unit team that focuses on leveraging innovative technology to transform energy and contribute to a sustainable energy future. Your role will involve creating and implementing quality management programs, identifying feedback loops, encouraging employee engagement, and ensuring policies and procedures are followed. Key Responsibilities: - Deploy and execute the Hub/GPG strategy to continuous improvement and strategy deployment via L6S - Facilitate best practice sharing within locations and work with key stakeholders for strategy execution - Develop talented individuals and provide access to internal customers for specific knowledge and capabilities - Understand the organization's vision and improvement needs, suggest projects that support objectives, and work with leaders to identify resources - Ensure budget and team resources for continuous improvement efforts, track progress via metrics/KPIs, and provide organization-wide visibility of improvement efforts - Ensure the area of responsibility is organized, staffed, skilled, and directed, and guide, motivate, and develop subordinates - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity in all actions Qualifications Required: - Bachelor or Masters in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering - 12-15 years of experience in transformers, automotive, industrial equipment, and precision parts manufacturing - Proven record in facilitating kaizens and major improvement projects - Competent in lean tools and certified lean practitioner - Disciplined, systematic, with a passion for Lean strategies and deployment - Strong results-oriented, people-centered, and never-give-up mindset - Proficiency in both spoken and written English language (Note: Additional details about the company were not included in the job description),
