CONTINENTAL CHEF

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie (CDP) specializing in Continental Cuisine to join our culinary team. You will be responsible for managing your section, preparing high-quality dishes, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations in line with our standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the Continental section of the kitchen
• Prepare a variety of dishes such as pastas, grills, steaks, sauces, salads, and baked items
• Ensure food is prepared and presented according to the recipe and plating standards
• Train, supervise, and support junior chefs and Commis staff
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering and stock rotation
• Ensure workstation cleanliness and food safety compliance at all times
• Maintain consistency in food quality during service
• Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef on menu development and specials
• Monitor portion and waste control to maintain food cost targets

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience in Continental cuisine (hot and cold kitchen)
• Excellent understanding of Western culinary techniques and plating styles
• Leadership skills and the ability to manage a small team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards
• Culinary diploma or certification preferred

Pay: ₹26,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
