CONTINENTAL CHEF

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Commis 1 – Continental Cuisine to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing and cooking a variety of Continental dishes, and the ability to work efficiently under the supervision of senior chefs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of Continental dishes such as pastas, grills, steaks, salads, and sauces
• Ensure all mise en place is completed prior to service
• Follow recipes and presentation standards set by the CDP or Sous Chef
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in your work area
• Support kitchen operations during busy hours
• Monitor food stock and report shortages
• Ensure proper use of kitchen equipment and report any issues
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Continental cuisine (Commis 2 or equivalent)
• Familiarity with ingredients, cooking techniques, and presentation of Continental dishes
• Ability to follow instructions and take initiative when needed
• Good communication skills and a strong team spirit
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Food safety and hygiene certification is a plus

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
