Role Description

Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation (VMRF-DU), Chennai is seeking a full-time, on-site Content Writer to create, curate, and manage high-quality content that supports the university’s academic, administrative, and promotional communications.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled and creative writer with strong research and editing abilities, capable of producing engaging and impactful content tailored to diverse stakeholders

• Draft compelling content for the university’s website, brochures, newsletters, press releases, academic bulletins, event reports, and admission materials.
• Write articles, features, and success stories highlighting faculty achievements, student projects, alumni impact, and institutional milestones.
• Collaborate with departments and faculty to develop accurate, concise, and student-friendly content.
• Ensure consistency in tone, style, and branding across all university communications.
• Assist in preparing speeches, official messages, and announcements for university leadership.
• Write scripts for promotional videos, convocation ceremonies, and academic events.
• Conduct background research and interviews with stakeholders to create authentic narratives.
• Coordinate with design, digital, and social media teams to tailor content for various platforms.
• Monitor and update web content regularly for accuracy and relevance.
• Proofread and edit content to ensure grammatical correctness and adherence to university guidelines.

Qualification:
