Content Team Lead

As the Head of Programming at our station, you will play a crucial role in managing the sound-scape through creative and marketing interventions to enhance or maintain listenership. Acting as a liaison between the Programming and sales teams, you will provide innovative inputs to boost ad spends by clients. Your responsibilities will include developing fresh programming initiatives, on-air campaigns, and on-ground events to strengthen the Mirchi brand and increase brand recall. Investing time in nurturing local RJs to elevate them as local celebrities will be a key aspect of your role. You will need to leverage your networking skills to identify local talent and collaborate with creative minds in the market to enhance the station's offerings. Building radio as a preferred category for both listeners and advertisers will be a focus area. In terms of people management, you will be responsible for identifying and developing talent through regular feedback and mentorship. Developing Jocks in alignment with guidelines and spotting local talent to fill vacancies locally will be essential tasks. To excel in this role, you should hold a Graduation/Post Graduation degree with 8-12 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in digital content conceptualization, a strong branding acumen, and staying informed about local events are prerequisites. Fluency in Telugu is a must. Your personal attributes, such as excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with effective people management abilities, will be vital for success in this position.,
