Content Strategy Analyst II / Technical WriterSummary:

Content Strategy and Development (CS&D) provides the technical andoperational information that customers and stakeholders need to dobusiness with Mastercard
CS&D is committed to driving the business goalsof Mastercard by maximizing the impact of content
We foster solutions toprovide the right content, to the right stakeholders, in the right format, at theright time
We accomplish this goal by collaborating with business partners tounderstand customer needs and deliver timely, high-quality information in awide range of media and languages
Overview:This position supports the creation, delivery, and maintenance of technical documentation that supports Mastercard products and services
Role: Collaborate with cross functional teams (Product Managers, Engineers, Testers, etc
) to create and update technical content Accountable for the successful completion of high-quality projects within the technical writing function Ensure the documentation algins with the CS&D writing standards Manage the review lifecycle and address input and feedback received from internal business partners and external customers Provide excellent customer service to our business partners and customers
Author in XML or markdown, for content creation and editing Use screen capture and graphic tools to add visuals to your document Publish technical content to multiple platforms and output types, such as PDF, HTML, Wiki, and online help file generation Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity as per company guidelines Demonstrate the following Mastercard Way principles and behaviors: Create value for our customers, partners, and colleagues Grow together to achieve our goals Move fast on what matters most for our customers and Mastercard
All About You: 4+ years of technical writing experience Strong organizational and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Technologically savvy, with a process improvement mindset Adaptable to dynamic change and ambiguity thriving in a fastpaced environment Ability to identify process improvement opportunities Team player, ability to interact and consult with various levels throughout the organization to cultivate and expand partnerships Exhibit the highest degree of professionalism, accountability, and empowerment to drive results Basic working understanding of content localization Ability to work independently including the ability to problemsolve and troubleshoot Experience with Microsoft Office products Experience with content management system (CMS) and other authoring tools, such as Ixiasoft, Oxygen, xMetal, Visual Studio Code Basic understanding of DITA/XML, HTML, and PDF Experience with MSTP/Chicago/any other technical publication guidelines API specification documentation experience is a plus Understand usage of generative AI to enhance productivity, create content drafts, or refine existing documentation, and stay current on how these technologies impact content strategy
