Description
As a Content Strategist at Zoca, you will play a crucial role in driving the organic growth engine by owning and executing the content strategy across various platforms. Your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining a high-output content calendar focused on traffic and lead generation, managing freelance writers, designers, and video editors to scale content creation, and writing/editing strategic content such as landing pages, guides, and founder-led content. You will be expected to build content clusters targeting service-based businesses like salons, spas, and wellness centers, and track content performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Surfer, Ahrefs, etc. Additionally, you will own growth KPIs such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and inbound leads, while collaborating with product marketing, SEO, and paid teams to align messaging and goals effectively. The ideal candidate for this role will have 3-7 years of experience in content marketing or SEO-focused roles, with a strong portfolio of written content that ranks and converts. You should have a deep understanding of content-led SEO, topic clusters, and funnel content, along with experience managing freelancers or agencies to achieve volume and quality targets. A results-driven mindset is essential, as you will be responsible for owning traffic, conversion, and lead KPIs. Experience in writing for small/local businesses or vertical SaaS would be a bonus.
