Job Title: Content Manager
Years of Experience 57 years of overall professional experience in content management, editing, and publishing Education & Certifications ¢ Bachelors degree in English Literature, Technical Writing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field Relevant certifications in content management or technical writing are a plus Key Responsibilities Content Management & Publishing ¢ Source, curate, edit, and publish high-quality content on internal and external portals ¢ ¢ Proactively manage content updates while responding to ad hoc business requests Research and evaluate existing content to avoid duplication and ensure accuracy before creating new material ¢ Publish content using CMS platforms, with SharePoint/SharePoint Online as the preferred tool Editorial & Quality Assurance ¢ Conduct thorough content quality reviews to ensure adherence to style guides, voice standards, and publishing templates ¢ ¢ Edit content for clarity, conciseness, usability, and consistency in global English Provide editorial guidance and feedback to content contributors and stakeholders
Stakeholder & Project Collaboration
¢ ¢ ¢ Partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders through regular interactions (calls, emails, MS Teams, Outlook) Support business projects by writing and editing content aligned with project goals and timelines Manage stakeholder expectations and negotiate priorities in a fast-paced environment Content Maintenance & Archiving ¢ ¢ Handle content maintenance requests in line with defined service level agreements (SLAs) Assist with archiving and retiring content according to internal document retention policies Process Improvement ¢ ¢ Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities to improve editorial processes Provide recommendations to enhance content workflows, operational efficiency, and governance Required Skill Set Core Technical & Content Skills ¢ Minimum 5+ years of experience in content editing, publishing, and content management ¢ ¢ Minimum 4+ years of experience in stakeholder interaction and collaboration Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with CMS platforms, including SharePoint/SharePoint Online ¢ Strong experience writing, editing, curating, and managing diverse content types (policy, HR, instructional, technical)
Communication & Language Proficiency
¢ ¢ ¢ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in global English Advanced grammar, proofreading, and editorial skills Strong ability to translate complex information into clear, user-friendly content Tools & Technology ¢ ¢ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams Familiarity with publishing workflows, templates, metadata, and content governance Project & Time Management ¢ Ability to manage multiple content requests simultaneously with minimal supervision ¢ ¢ Proven capability to meet deadlines and work within SLAs Comfortable working under pressure with shifting priorities Behavioral & Professional Skills ¢ ¢ ¢ Strong attention to detail and sound judgment in content decisions User-focused mindset with the ability to advocate for content strategy Flexible, adaptable, and curious learner capable of working in agile environments Disqualifiers ¢ ¢ ¢ No prior experience in content editing, publishing, CMS, or stakeholder interactions Inability to work with Microsoft Office tools Failure to pass the writing assessment evaluating clarity, grammar, and problem- solving through written communication ¢ Difficulty managing multiple content updates across projects
