The Content Curator is responsible for discovering, organizing, and sharing high-quality content that aligns with the brand's voice, values, and audience interests. This role involves researching across various digital sources and tailoring content for distribution across different platforms.
1. Content Discovery:
o Identify relevant, trending, and high-quality content from diverse sources including blogs, news portals, videos, and social media platforms.
2. Content Evaluation:
o Review and assess content to ensure its relevance, credibility, and alignment with the brand’s tone and messaging.
3. Organization & Categorization:
o Organize selected content into meaningful themes or categories that reflect audience preferences and campaign goals.
4. Content Tailoring:
o Adapt and format curated content to suit specific platforms such as websites, newsletters, and social media channels.
5. Content Distribution:
o Schedule and publish curated content across digital platforms to inform, educate, or engage the target audience.
6. Trend Monitoring:
o Stay updated with industry trends, viral content, and audience behavior to ensure timely and impactful content curation.
7. Audience Engagement:
o Understand target demographics and user preferences to curate content that drives engagement and builds community.
8. Cross-functional Coordination:
o Collaborate with the marketing, design, and content creation teams to ensure curated content complements original brand content.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
• Proven experience in content curation, digital marketing, or social media management.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent command of written and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with digital publishing tools and content management systems.
• In-depth understanding of brand voice and audience psychology.
• Ability to identify valuable content quickly and accurately.
• Proficiency in using social media, content discovery tools, and trend tracking platforms.
• Creative mindset with an eye for aesthetics and messaging.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
• Passion for storytelling, content trends, and audience interaction.
