Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop original scripts and storylines for branded content, digital films, and ad campaigns.
  • Convert briefs into engaging narratives with a strong emotional or humorous core, tailored to diverse formats and platforms.
  • Write dialogues, VO scripts, scenarios, and treatments for short-form and long-form content.
  • Ensure tonality and storytelling align with the brand’s voice and strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with strategy, design, and marketing teams to refine concepts and pitches.
  • Visualize and lead the creative execution of scripts through pre-production, shoot, and post.
  • Direct actors, talent, and crew to maintain tone, performance, and narrative impact.
  • Make stylistic and technical decisions on framing, lighting, art, sound, and edit pace to enhance storytelling.
  • Work closely with DOPs, editors, and production teams to maintain high-quality visual and emotional output.
  • Oversee post-production elements like music, color grading, and final edits to ensure the final film reflects the original vision.
  • Manage end-to-end production workflows — from pre-production planning to post-production delivery.
  • Coordinate with crew, vendors, locations, and talent for smooth shoot execution.
  • Track budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring projects are completed efficiently without compromising quality.
  • Adapt content outputs to different formats/platforms (YouTube, Instagram, reels, shorts, brand films, etc.).
  • Act as a liaison between clients, creative teams, and production vendors — ensuring creative alignment and smooth feedback loops.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • A strong storyteller with 3–5 years of experience in scriptwriting, or digital content creation, backed by a solid portfolio of branded films and ads.
  • Skilled in crafting compelling narratives across emotional, humorous, and high-impact formats, with a solid grasp of visual storytelling.
  • Capable of managing end-to-end production workflows, coordinating with teams, vendors, and clients to deliver high-quality output on time.
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with the ability to translate briefs into impactful content for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, reels, and shorts.
