Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Content CoE Leader to lead content strategy & editorial as well as establish a new Content Center of Excellence serving the global Grid Software business. This role will ensure that our content is deeply aligned to our audiences, messaging, and business goals while building a foundation for smarter content operations and reuse. The role will be based out of Hyderabad, India and will report to Senior Director, Marketing based out of the same location.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead content planning practices across teams
  • Partner with portfolio, product, regional and account-based marketing teams to align on content strategy & priorities
  • Define and maintain messaging alignment, editorial standards, and writing style guidelines
  • Audit current content inventory and identify critical content gaps
  • Manage editorial planning calendar, intake processes, and prioritization of content needs in collaboration with design teams
  • Review and edit content for clarity, consistency, and impact across multiple content formats
  • Lead and manage inhouse copywriters & freelancers managing the production workflows across the team
  • Collaborate with marketing operations and creative teams on asset management, taxonomy, metadata, and publishing workflows
  • Establish best practices & governance around GenAI use cases within Content CoE helping balance creativity & authenticity with speed

Strong editorial judgment and quality standards can review, revise, and guide content across formats while coaching others to improve over time

Content planning and prioritization discipline knows how to build and run a content calendar, prioritize requests, and say not now when needed; can assess tradeoffs

Systems thinker with operational instinct can think about how to reuse and repackage content, and has perspective on content governance

Comfortable with ambiguity and scale-up dynamics can operate with partial inputs, design light but effective processes, and evolve their role as the CoE grows.

Qualifications:

  • 12-15 years in B2B content strategy, editorial, or messaging roles
  • Exceptional editorial and writing skills; strong content judgment
  • Has prior experience in building Content teams for large enterprises
  • Experience with content audits, gap analysis, and planning frameworks
  • Strategic thinker with operational instincts
  • Highly comfortable working hands-on in lean, fast-moving environment
  • Energy industry or related industry experience is a big plus alternatively, deep understanding of audience needs and buyers journey in complex industries required
