about the role

Consultant - VITAM manages inventory of software/hardware purchased by the entity for new projects and existing install base (licenses, support, SaaS & professional services). Contributes to evolution of software policy and licenses management.

Consultant - VITAM ensures the right management of software spending and optimization, proper usages of licenses pool and compliance with contractualized rules.

Consultant - VITAM maintains the relationship with vendors.

Manage and maintain Orange inventories for customer s supported equipment (e.g. servers, storage) make consistency check with vendor inventory and fix the gap.

Work closely with internal teams (Ops / Imp/ Sourcing) to ensure awareness of vendor interlock workflows, provide training or coaching workshop sessions, identify process improvements areas and fix them.

Process all requests for additions or removals of asset from support inventories/Databases.

Periodically review pricing, support & service level agreements and contractual agreements with vendors, in coordination with sourcing / procurement.

Assist in preparation of budget and follow up execution. Submit purchase order requests for vendor services required to support the service, using company financial workflow tools.

Manage EOSL (End of service life) by identifying what equipment/license will be EOSL and when, making sure appropriate action plan is being executed.

Communicate regularly on usage according to SW/HW vendors contracts, send warning for discrepancies.

Ability to analyze inventories - to identify discrepancies.

Ability to understand, prepare and present annual budget.

Experience on Cisco Webex licensing.


about you

6 - 10 years IT Asset management

Advance knowledge of IT Asset management including infrastructure like Systems, Storage and license.

ITIL Certified preferred.

HAM/SAM Certified preferred.

IT Service Management Processes such as Incident, Change, Problem, Release and Configuration Management.

Exposure on building automated reporting tools a plus.

Must have strong written and oral skills.
