Job Title: Consultant – MD Medicine

Job Summary:

Prime Hospital Patiala is seeking a qualified and experienced Consultant in General Medicine (MD) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, manage inpatient and outpatient cases, and contribute to clinical excellence and hospital standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Conduct patient rounds, prescribe treatment, and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with other specialists and nursing staff for integrated care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Participate in clinical audits, CME programs, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with NABH and hospital protocols.

Qualifications:

• MBBS + MD in General Medicine from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration with State Medical Council or NMC.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills.

Skills & Attributes:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ethical, compassionate, and patient-focused approach.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and hospital software (preferred).

Working Hours:

• Rotational shifts including OPD, IPD, and emergency duties.
