Job Title: Consultant – MD Medicine Location: Prime Hospital, Patiala Job Type: Full-Time Experience Required: Minimum 2 years post-MD clinical experience Job Summary: Prime Hospital Patiala is seeking a qualified and experienced Consultant in General Medicine (MD) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, manage inpatient and outpatient cases, and contribute to clinical excellence and hospital standards. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions. Conduct patient rounds, prescribe treatment, and monitor progress. Collaborate with other specialists and nursing staff for integrated care. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation. Participate in clinical audits, CME programs, and quality improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with NABH and hospital protocols. Qualifications: MBBS + MD in General Medicine from a recognized institution. Valid registration with State Medical Council or NMC. Minimum 3 years of clinical experience preferred. Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills. Skills & Attributes: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ethical, compassionate, and patient-focused approach. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. Familiarity with EMR systems and hospital software (preferred). Working Hours: Rotational shifts including OPD, IPD, and emergency duties.
