Job Description

As a Consultant in Performance Analytics at Mastercard, you will be part of the Advisors & Consulting Services group, specializing in Strategy & Transformation, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Your role involves translating data into valuable insights for clients by utilizing both Mastercard and customer data to create, implement, and expand analytical solutions. You will apply qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques along with enterprise applications to synthesize analyses into clear recommendations and impactful narratives. - Contribute creatively to various projects across different industries and problem statements - Develop analytics strategies and programs for regional and global clients - Collaborate closely with the Mastercard team to understand clients" needs, agendas, and risks - Collaborate with senior project delivery consultants to identify key findings and deliver recommendations - Independently identify trends, patterns, issues, and anomalies in your analysis - Lead internal and client meetings, contribute to project management, and enhance the firm's intellectual capital To qualify for this position, you should have: - An undergraduate degree with experience in data and analytics related to business intelligence - Proficiency in data analytics software such as Python, R, SQL, and SAS - Advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Strong communication skills in English and the local office language - Eligibility to work in the country where you are applying and ability to apply for travel visas as needed Preferred qualifications include: - Experience in building, managing, and maintaining database structures - Working with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI - Utilizing the Hadoop framework and coding with Impala, Hive, or PySpark - Analyzing large datasets to provide recommendations through descriptive analytics and business intelligence - Managing tasks in a collaborative team environment and implementing effective solutions - Relevant industry expertise As part of your corporate security responsibility at Mastercard, you are expected to: - Abide by security policies - Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of accessed information - Report any suspected security violations - Complete mandatory security trainings as per Mastercard's guidelines (Note: The additional details of the company were omitted as they were not present in the provided job description),
