Job Description

Job Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior SAP Basis Administrator to manage and optimize our complex 4-tier SAP landscape. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP architecture, license management, integration planning, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) administration. This role is critical to ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of our SAP systems and supporting strategic initiatives such as upgrades and new deployments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain a 4-tier SAP landscape including development, quality assurance, pre-production, and production environments.
  • Collaborate with SAP and internal stakeholders on architectural patterns, integration strategies, and system design.
  • Administer SAP BTP including connectivity, security, and service configurations.
  • Perform SAP system upgrades, client copies, and setup of new SAP instances.
  • Ensure adherence to SAP best practices in architecture, performance tuning, and system health.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address issues to ensure high availability.
  • Support project teams with SAP Basis expertise during implementations and migrations.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies.
  • Support SAP GRC process and integrations.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
  • Proven experience managing multi-tier SAP landscapes.
  • Strong understanding of SAP architecture, integration planning, and BTP administration.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP GRC and security solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP upgrades, client copy, system refresh, and new instance setup.
  • Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, Transport Management System (TMS), and system monitoring tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate in engineering - BE / BTECH / MCA
  • SAP certifications in Basis or BTP administration.
  • Experience with S/4HANA migrations and cloud-based SAP deployments.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and automation in SAP environments.
