Consultant – Laparoscopic Surgeon (MS – General Surgery)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient consultations for general surgical conditions
• Perform elective and emergency laparoscopic and open surgeries (e.g., appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repair, etc.)
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of surgical cases across OPD, IPD, and emergency settings
• Ensure pre-operative and post-operative patient care and follow-ups
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, physicians, and nursing staff for effective patient outcomes
• Maintain high standards of surgical safety and infection control
• Document clinical findings, surgical notes, and follow hospital protocols
  

Eligibility Criteria

• MS in General Surgery from a recognized institution
• Valid registration with State Medical Council / NMC
• Minimum 1–5 years of experience in general and laparoscopic surgery
• Independent handling of laparoscopic surgical procedures
• Strong communication and patient management skills
