Location: Bharuch (Gujarat) Department: Obstetrics & Gynecology Reports to: Medical Director / Head of Department Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Consultant Gynecologist to join our medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert care in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of disorders related to the female reproductive system. The role involves both outpatient and inpatient care, including surgical procedures, prenatal and postnatal care, and managing high-risk pregnancies. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and treat conditions related to the female reproductive system, including menstrual disorders, fertility issues, sexually transmitted infections, and menopausal symptoms. Provide prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal care to patients. Perform gynecological surgeries such as hysterectomies, laparoscopies, C-sections, and other operative procedures as needed. Conduct routine screenings, including pap smears, pelvic exams, and breast exams. Collaborate with other specialists (e.g., oncologists, endocrinologists) as required for comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with hospital standards. Offer counseling and support to patients regarding family planning, contraception, and reproductive health. Stay updated with the latest medical research and advancements in gynecology and obstetrics. Supervise junior medical staff and provide training as required. Participate in on-call rotations and emergency services when necessary. Qualifications and Requirements: Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology (e.g., MD, DNB). Board certification or equivalent registration with the relevant medical council. Proficiency in performing gynecological and obstetric surgeries. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Attributes: Experience with high-risk obstetric cases and minimally invasive surgical techniques. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
