Job Description

Key Responsibilities Duties:

Patient Management: Oversee daily care, conduct rounds, review labs, and adjust treatment plans for critically ill patients
Emergency Response: Attend to medical emergencies within the ICU
Procedural Skills: Perform necessary ICU procedures, such as central line insertions, intubations, and managing ventilators
Team Leadership: Guide and collaborate with nurses, respiratory therapists, and other consultants for comprehensive care
Protocol Implementation: Ensure strict adherence to ICU clinical guidelines and protocols
Documentation: Maintain detailed clinical records and care plans
Family Communication: Counsel patients families about the critical condition and treatment plan
Education: Stay updated on critical care advancements and potentially train junior staff
Required Skills Qualifications:Medical Degree (MD/DNB/DO) with specialized training in Critical Care/Intensive Care Medicine
Expertise in managing conditions like respiratory/renal failure, sepsis, shock, stroke, and major trauma
Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
