Construction Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Supervisor to oversee on-site operations on construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing site activities, ensuring safety compliance, supervising staff and subcontractors, and ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities on the site.
• Ensure project is executed according to design specifications, quality standards, timelines, and safety guidelines.
• Coordinate and monitor the work of subcontractors, laborers, and equipment operators.
• Maintain daily work logs, progress reports, and site documentation.
• Inspect work for quality and adherence to plans and specifications.
• Identify and resolve any issues or delays in a timely manner.
• Ensure that safety protocols and government regulations are followed on-site.
• Communicate project status to project managers and stakeholders.
• Ensure proper usage and maintenance of construction equipment and tools.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with other professionals (engineers, architects, inspectors, etc.).

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor, Foreman, or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Familiarity with construction management software is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree or certification in construction management or civil engineering is preferred.
• Safety training certification (e.g., OSHA, First Aid) is an advantage.

Working Conditions:

• Work primarily takes place on construction sites, often in outdoor environments.
• May involve working in various weather conditions and extended hours as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
