Construction Project Manager

A Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, budgeting, and supervising construction projects from start to finish. You will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards. Your key responsibilities will include planning, organizing, and overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. You will develop project schedules, timelines, and budgets while coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders. Supervising on-site operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations, managing project risks, delays, and resolving issues promptly will be essential. Monitoring progress, preparing regular reports for management and clients, and ensuring materials, equipment, and manpower availability as needed are crucial tasks. You will also negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, maintain quality control, and ensure adherence to project specifications. Conducting inspections and overseeing project handover will be part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, along with proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role. Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety standards is required, as well as excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera is essential. Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and teams effectively, problem-solving and decision-making abilities are also important skills. The work environment for this role is primarily site-based with regular office coordination and may require extended hours to meet deadlines.
