Construction Project Manager (Civil)

1.Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & CoordinationDevelop detailed project schedules, milestones, and cost estimates. Coordinate with architects, engineers, vendors, contractors, and clients. Ensure project execution is aligned with approved drawings and specifications. Liaise with local authorities for approvals and building bye-law compliance. 2. Site Execution & ManagementOversee day-to-day site activities including civil, structural, finishing, and MEP works. Monitor contractor performance, labor deployment, and resource utilization. Ensure strict adherence to quality checks, safety standards, and environmental norms. Identify and resolve site-level issues proactively. 3. Budgeting & Cost ControlPrepare BOQs, material requirements, and procurement schedules. Track expenses against project budgets and control cost overruns. Negotiate with vendors and suppliers for cost efficiency. 4. Quality & Safety AssuranceImplement QA/QC protocols and ensure compliance with IS codes & local building standards. Conduct regular snag checks and ensure defect-free delivery. Enforce site safety protocols to minimize accidents and risks. 5. Reporting & Client HandlingPrepare weekly/monthly progress reports with site photos, work status, and cost updates. Conduct review meetings with clients and management. Handle client queries and ensure transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
