Construction Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Project & Construction Management

• Oversee complete site construction activities including planning, scheduling, execution, and quality control.
  
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and client teams to ensure smooth execution.
  
• Conduct and lead daily, weekly, and monthly site meetings; prepare and share progress reports and presentations.
  

• Multidisciplinary Oversight

• Monitor and manage Civil and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) work streams.
  
• Ensure alignment of construction progress with project milestones and safety norms.
  

• Technical Expertise

• Experience with HVAC, chillers, chemical dosing systems, cooling towers, piping, fire sprinklers/systems, air compressors, and air-line installation and commissioning.
  
• Review and provide input on design drawings and documents; identify and report design clashes.
  

• Budgeting & Documentation

• Prepare and manage estimates, budgeting, scheduling, and documentation.
  
• Perform quantity surveying, verify vendor running bills, and support contract administration.
  

• Design & Coordination

• Contribute to design coordination, particularly with PEB (Pre-Engineered Buildings), site-fabricated structures, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) areas.
  
• Provide constructability reviews to enhance design efficiency and project value.
  

• Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with applicable Indian building codes and construction safety standards.
  
• Promote and enforce best practices in construction site safety and risk mitigation.
  

• Value Engineering

• Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction, quality enhancement, and schedule improvement through value engineering.
  

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience in large-scale industrial building design, construction, and start-up.
  
• Strong knowledge of GMP area design and construction.
  
• Familiarity with Indian construction codes and statutory guidelines.
  
• Proven track record in design coordination and installation of PEB systems.
  
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
  
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in construction and design review.
