Construction Engineer - Civil

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Interpret and work from civil and architectural drawings for project execution. Develop and define the Scope of Work (SOW) for civil packages and assist in obtaining quotations from vendors . Prepare project preliminary schedules and milestones ; update and track them regularly. Develop and maintain Level 3 project schedules using MS Project . Create daily progress reports and weekly updates for stakeholders and senior management. Conduct site quality inspections and ensure proper documentation of civil, architectural, reinforcement, and shuttering work. Ensure compliance with project safety standards and promote industrial safety practices . Proactively coordinate with MEP teams to resolve day-to-day site issues and manage team tasks. Lead and manage on-site construction teams , ensuring proper workflow and task allocation. Monitor and enforce quality and safety standards in line with site and regulatory requirements. Participate in vendor management, material follow-ups, and support procurement coordination. Collaborate with multiple disciplines to prepare a coordinated master schedule for the project. Contribute to resource planning and allocation and take corrective actions to keep projects on track. Qualifications & Skills Required: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory). Minimum 35 years of experience in civil construction project execution and management. Must have completed 510 civil construction projects (residential, commercial, or industrial). Proven experience in construction safety, quality control, and project documentation . Strong ability to manage vendors and construction floor activities . Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Proficiency in MS Project for schedule creation and tracking. Solid understanding of construction safety norms , particularly industrial safety standards . Prior experience in building management systems inspections and QA/QC processes is preferred. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
