Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer with 4-12 years of experience, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Preparation of test plan and monitoring to ensure the efficient testing of IC engines (Gasoline, Diesel, Flex, CNG, BNG). - Ensuring annual maintenance and calibration of Equipment as per the plan to maintain accuracy in testing procedures. - Conducting Engine COP tests according to the specified requirements to validate performance and durability. - Procurement of Equipment based on business and test requirements to facilitate smooth testing processes. - Root cause analysis and implementing improvements when issues are identified to enhance testing efficiency. - Preparation of test reports and documentation for record-keeping and analysis. - Ensuring compliance with internal and external audit requirements to maintain quality standards. Qualifications Required: - Diploma or B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. - Experience in Engine Dyno/Engine test bed operations. - Knowledge of Automotive products/processes, including 4-wheeler engines. - Experience working with 3rd parties such as Test agencies/Procurement suppliers. - Familiarity with Engine COP testing and validation procedures. - Understanding of Engine Dyno utilities and accessories, such as AVL Test bed. - Basic knowledge of ISO-9001/14001/ISO 45001 requirements and calibration tools. - Proficiency in Statistical techniques like SPC/MSA/Data analysis/Power BI. - Good communication, analytical, presentation, and IT skills. - Strong coordination and networking abilities.
