You should possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 8-12 years of experience or a B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 4-6 years of experience. Your primary responsibilities will include performance/durability testing and validation of IC engines (Gasoline, Diesel, Flex, CNG, BNG) & Engine COP. You should have a strong understanding of automotive products/processes related to 4-wheelers and experience working with 3rd party entities such as test agencies or procurement suppliers. Your role will involve preparing test plans, monitoring, conducting Engine COP tests, and procuring equipment based on business/test requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for root cause analysis, test report preparation/documentation, and ensuring compliance with internal/external audit requirements. In terms of technical competencies, you should be experienced in Engine Dyno/Engine test bed operations, Eddy Current & AC Regenerative Dyno Test Data acquisition & Automation control system Operation (PUMA, EDACS, etc), and defect analysis in collaboration with production and design teams. Knowledge of engine dyno utilities and accessories of AVL Test bed, CI, SI Engines, Flex fuel, and basic ISO-9001/14001/ISO 45001 requirements is essential. Familiarity with calibration tools, statistical techniques (SPC/MSA/Data analysis/Power BI), and equipment procurement processes is also required. On the behavioral side, excellent communication, teamwork, analytical, presentation, and IT skills are necessary for this role. Strong coordination and networking abilities are also desired qualities. Special expertise in automotive regulations and tests (Indian & ECE Europe regulations) along with knowledge of upcoming regulations related to engines will be beneficial in fulfilling the job requirements.,

Ensure lab environments meet validation needs and comply with global team and IT infrastructure guidelines. Purpose of the Role This role exists to define Diagnostic, EMI-EMC and EE Hardware requirements in line with defined Technical Policy and Technology Roadmap for ECUs, EE aggregates, current and planned future vehicles. Lead the development, delivery and deployment of ECU specific on-board diagnostics, EOL and Off board requirements for all new ECU developments in power-train, chassis, body and infotainment and connected car domains and define test standards & validation Strategies. Roles and Responsibilities: - Authorize release of test report based on the Buyers protocol & test methods - On time responds to Buyers & clients queries, emails and calls - Responsible for reviewing revisions, updates on test parameters, protocols and regulations, etc. and circulating these to the concerned lab team - Training lab staff as per updated, revised protocol received from clients and brands - Support team to develop capability on new test parameters as received in buyer protocol - Training & Supervising the handling, operating and maintenance of test equipment. - Supervising preparation and maintenance of document as per requirement of ISO 17025 - Monitor accuracy of ILC/ PT programs and timely delivery of Test results and Test reports - To monitor NABL and Buyers/ clients accreditation process & correlation activities - Responsible for efficient operations of testing lab. - Responsible for on-time delivery of test reports and maintaining TAT - Responsible for development of new test methods required as per revisions and updates - Seek approvals for revision of test reports, Invoices - Ensure AMC/ CMC for test instruments, Calibration tools, standard reference materials are in place. - Coordinate with QM/ Quality executive to respond and resolve customer complaints / claims, non-conformances and in the corrective and preventive action
