Were seeking a skilled and motivated L1 Support Engineer to join our Knowledge Management & Research team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring secure and efficient User Access Management (UAM) for our critical knowledge base built on Atlassian Confluence. You will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our information environment by processing user access requests and revoking access as needed, following established workflows and procedures. - Foundational knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles.
- Familiarity with LDAP systems (Microsoft Active Directory preferred).
- Experience using ticketing systems, particularly JIRA.
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to escalate issues effectively to higher support tiers.
- Basic understanding of Atlassian Confluence is a plus.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Process user access requests for corporate Confluence instances, adhering to standardized workflows and security protocols.
- Prepare and manage user access revocation requests for Confluence instances, ensuring the access control process according to company policies.
- Work with and interpret access permission matrices to ensure accurate and consistent application of User Access Management (UAM) controls.
- Review all incoming support tickets related to Confluence platforms, analyze ticket details, and accurately assign them to the appropriate team or specialist in case of escalations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our User Access Management (UAM) processes by identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains.
