Role & responsibilities Netcracker Technology is looking to hire a Senior Openstack Administrator responsible for the implementation, administration, and optimization of OpenStack cloud infrastructure. This role supports the design and operation of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments that enable efficient resource utilization and application deployment. Deployment and troubleshooting of Linux and telecom VNFs into cloud environments & give consultation to development teams. Deployment and support of OpenStack and Contrail clouds, Docker and Kubernetes environments. Scripting and automating system and deployment tasks to reduce manual repetitive work. Management and automation of infrastructure services. Creating & maintaining technical documentation including system diagrams & operational procedures. Preferred candidate profile 7+ years relevant experience as a Linux Systems Administrator. 3+ years relevant experience in OpenStack Deployment and troubleshooting of BareMetal and virtual Linux based hosts and provide consultation to development team. Linux knowledge has to be at least at a certifiable level in Red Hat (Unix knowledge is a plus). RHCSA, RHCE. Experience with scripting languages (Shell, Perl, Python, etc). Experience with multipath software (iSCSI or Fibre Channel). Good systems administration skills such as the ability to install and configure new physical and virtual Linux servers. The ability to analyze and optimize performance on a Linux server.
