Configurator Specialist

As a Global Configurator Governance & Data Specialist at the company, your role involves defining and implementing governance practices around product configurators and overseeing the maintenance and accuracy of configuration data. Your responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with data standards and policies, managing critical master data objects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain consistency in product configurations. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and enforce robust governance practices around product configurators - Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of configuration data, including product specifications, costing, and pricing - Implement global guidelines for pricing, costing/controlling, and risk management - Rigorously test and validate configuration models and scenarios - Work closely with product managers, engineers, and sales teams to maintain accurate product configurations - Continuously monitor and analyze configuration performance, incorporating customer feedback for improvements - Manage critical master data objects such as products, business partners, technical assets, and enterprise structures - Perform data cleansing, validation, and enrichment to maintain high-quality master data - Support data migration, integration, and synchronization efforts - Address data-related issues promptly and provide data support to stakeholders - Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, IT, Engineering) - Strong analytical skills to navigate complex data structures - Extensive experience in costing for Configure to Order and Engineer to Order products - Proven excellence in project management - Technical proficiency in configuration and master data management tools - Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams - Background in sales and marketing - Proficiency in both spoken & written English language In addition to the responsibilities and qualifications mentioned above, it is important to note that the company values safety and integrity, and expects all employees to uphold these core values in their actions and interactions.
