Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Condition Automation Underwriter at Quatrro Mortgage Services Pvt Ltd. The role is WFH. The Underwriter will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating automated conditions and ensuring alignment with underwriting guidelines. Daily tasks include analyzing loan files, verifying compliance with lending standards, collaborating with teams to resolve discrepancies, and maintaining a high level of accuracy across lending processes.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of loan underwriting, automated decision systems, and lending policies
• Proficiency in analyzing financial documents such as income, credit reports, and other loan conditions
• Attention to detail, process orientation, and excellent problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Familiarity with the mortgage industry and basic regulatory compliance requirements
• Relevant work experience in underwriting or financial services is a plus
• Proficiency in tools and technologies used for underwriting automation

Requirements:

Looking for an expert in:

Conventional loans (Advanced)

FHA & VA loans (Basic)

NON-QM – added advantage

Must handle entire loan underwriting (not just conditions) with strong knowledge of 4 Cs – Credit, Capacity, Collateral & Capital.

Experience with Wage/Salaried & Self-Employed income required.
