Computer Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues in desktops, laptops, and other IT equipment.
• Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems, drivers, and applications.
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing of computer systems.
• Troubleshoot network-related issues and configure routers, modems, and LAN/WAN connections.
• Provide technical support to customers and resolve their queries efficiently.
• Maintain service records and prepare reports on repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure proper handling of customer systems and follow safety protocols.
• Assist in assembling and testing new computer systems before delivery.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related field.
• Experience: Fresher or 1-3 years of experience in computer hardware and software servicing.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems is a plus.
• Ability to install and configure software, drivers, and peripherals.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and customer handling ability.
• Ability to work independently and on-site at customer locations if required.
