Position Responsibilities Policies, Standards, and Guidelines As a part of our team, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing global company-level policies and programs that encourage business leaders and employees to report suspected fraud and other improprieties without fear of retaliation. Your role will involve understanding policies, processes, and tools to effectively communicate with the appropriate employees or employee groups. It is essential to stay updated on compliance developments that impact Google Operations Center customers and workflows. You will synthesize compliance information to integrate it into the operational practices of Google Operations Center. Additionally, you will counsel, advise, and educate new and existing employees on ethics and compliance policies. Monitoring and Investigation Your duties will include investigating irregularities and non-compliance issues, allegations of compliance violations, ethical misconduct, fraud, or irregularities. You will gather evidence, conduct interviews, and document findings in accordance with established investigative protocols and legal requirements. Identifying compliance matters that require follow-up or investigation and conducting or supporting investigations as needed will also be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will support compliance due diligence, approvals activities, compliance risk assessments, reviews, and monitoring. Developing in-depth subject matter expertise in risk and compliance will be crucial. Communication, Awareness, and Training You will be tasked with driving and initiating global compliance outreach programs to promote ethical conduct and culture adherence to policies. Developing and delivering compliance training programs and materials to educate employees on compliance policies, procedures, and expectations will be essential. Your role will involve raising awareness of ethics and compliance risks and fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and ethical behavior. Additionally, you will develop regular global communications for site newsletters and monthly messages to all employees across various sites. Supporting internal guidelines, toolkits, and packaged knowledge on various compliance issues will also be part of your responsibilities. Oversight and Reporting Collaborating with GOC executives on compliance issues affecting the organization while ensuring the independence of the Ethics and Compliance function will be a key part of your role. Resolving compliance issues and disputes to minimize potential litigation and protect GOC's reputation will be crucial. You will be responsible for preparing regular reports for stakeholders and leadership on key E&C risk themes, insights, and mandatory compliance training completion. Supporting compliance documentation, record-keeping, and leading automation initiatives to streamline reports, data analytics, and query management will also be part of your responsibilities. Minimum Qualifications To qualify for this role, you must hold a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution, possess excellent English communication skills (both written and oral), and demonstrate excellent stakeholder management at multiple levels. You should have 10-12 years of experience with at least 7+ years in employee compliance, experience working with global compliance programs, managing initiatives of varying complexity, prior experience in investigative work, ethics and compliance certifications, and experience in project management. Skills The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, research and interpretation abilities, effective communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, familiarity with audit and investigation documentation, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
