Job Description

Position Title: Company Secretary (CS)

Experience Required: 0–3 Years

Location: Kolkata


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and facilitating board meetings including preparation of agendas and papers for board meetings, committees, and annual general meetings (AGMs) and follow up on action points
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including filing annual returns, disclosures, and resolutions.
  • Maintaining corporate records, registers, and statutory books as per the applicable laws and regulations.
  • Advising management and board members on corporate governance best practices, legal requirements, and compliance issues.
  • Guiding corporate governance best practices and implementing governance frameworks.
  • Liaise with external regulators and advisers such as lawyers and auditors.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Qualified Company Secretary (CS)
  • 0–3 years of post-qualification experience
  • Good knowledge of the Companies Act, 2013, SEBI (LODR), FEMA, and other corporate laws.
  • Strong drafting, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Detail-oriented with ability to manage deadlines
