Job Description

Role Summary:

Community Operations Head


Key Responsibilities:1. City Chapter Management:

  • Oversee and support all active and inactive city chapters.
  • Reignite inactive cities by identifying local leaders and relaunching activity-based meetups.
  • Build structure and momentum in new cities through on-ground or remote support.

2. Leadership Oversight:

  • Recruit, onboard, and train city leads and co-leads.
  • Create systems to monitor their performance and engagement.
  • Ensure city leads conduct regular, high-quality monthly meetings.
  • Set and track clear KPIs for city chapter success.

3. Program Quality and Experience:

  • Maintain the essence and brand of WNC across all cities.
  • Regularly collect feedback from members to improve the experience.
  • Provide ideas and templates for monthly activities to ensure freshness and consistency.

4. Member Engagement & Special Interest Clubs:

  • Ensure book club, journaling club, health club, and travel club are functioning well in all active chapters.
  • Track attendance, feedback, and performance of interest clubs.
  • Work with volunteers or point persons to keep these clubs vibrant.

5. Community Growth & Expansion:

  • Develop and execute a strategy to expand to new cities and eventually international markets.
  • Organize orientation sessions and interest meetings in target cities.
  • Build partnerships with local women leaders, co-working spaces, or organizations to facilitate entry.

6. Content & Communication Support:

  • Coordinate with city leads to ensure proper documentation of events (photos, write-ups, testimonials).
  • Collaborate with the social media/branding team to amplify stories and engagement across platforms.

7. Reporting & Accountability:

  • Conduct bi-weekly check-ins with all city leads.
  • Maintain a dashboard or tracker of activities, leads, engagement, and progress.
  • Prepare monthly reports for internal review.

8. Culture Keeper & Cheerleader:

  • Be the heart and soul of the WNC culture—celebrating wins, supporting leaders, and keeping energy high.
  • Recognize top-performing cities and members regularly.
  • Host quarterly all-chapter virtual gatherings.





Ideal Candidate Profile:Outgoing and personable – thrives on connecting with people.Strong leadership and management skills – can manage multiple stakeholders across cities.Passionate about women’s empowerment, community building, and networking.Organized and proactive – can work independently and take initiative.Priorexperience in community management, HR, event coordination, or women-led organizations is a plus.
