We are constantly seeking individuals who share our passion for meaningful work and are driven by a sense of purpose. If you care about making a difference and want to be part of a team that values impactful work, we invite you to join us.

We have established Roundglass Giving, which encompasses various social impact initiatives like the Roundglass Foundation, Roundglass Sports, and Roundglass Sustain. These initiatives are dedicated to promoting wellbeing for communities and the planet.

About the role

The Community Mobiliser cum Fundraiser will serve as a bridge between village communities in Punjab and the global Punjabi diaspora (NRIs). The role involves identifying, engaging, and mobilizing local champions and NRI donors to support community development programs in their ancestral villages. The position combines grassroots community leadership with fundraising and relationship-building responsibilities.

What youll do –

1. Community Mobilisation & Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with village panchayats, community leaders, youth clubs, women’s groups, and local influencers.
  • Facilitate community meetings to identify local needs and priorities aligned with the Foundation’s programs (environment, livelihoods, sports, education, women’s empowerment).
  • Mobilize local participation and ownership for ongoing projects through volunteerism and local contributions (cash or in-kind).
  • Support formation and functioning of Village Development Committees (VDCs).

2. NRI Donor Outreach & Fundraising

  • Identify and map NRIs connected to target villages (through families, local contacts, gurdwaras, social networks).
  • Reach out to NRIs via phone, WhatsApp, and social media to share village development opportunities and impact stories.
  • Coordinate with the fundraising operations team to organize NRI engagement events, donor visits, and virtual briefings.
  • Facilitate transparent communication between NRIs and village communities regarding funds, projects, and outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate donor records, track contributions, and support donor stewardship and reporting.

3. Program Support & Monitoring

  • Assist program teams in implementing projects funded by NRIs in the village.
  • Collect impact data, success stories, and testimonials to share with donors.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of community initiatives to ensure accountability and visibility.

4. Communication & Storytelling

  • Share inspiring stories, photos, and updates from the village that demonstrate change and impact.
  • Help organize local events, inaugurations, and recognition ceremonies for NRI-supported projects.
  • Build trust by showcasing transparency, community involvement, and tangible outcomes.

Skills and Qualifications: -

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Social Sciences, or other related field with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience of having worked in a direct fundraising and partnership role
  • A self-starter with a high degree of ownership who can work across boundaries and get things done
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and comfort with the ambiguity of the fundraising universe
  • Highly organized with an eye for detail and a strong executive presence with the ability to quickly establish personal credibility and demonstrate expertise
  • Highly developed cultural awareness and ability to work well in an international environment with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and time-zones
  • Ability to stretch limits to meet deadlines and time-bound goals for self and team members
  • Adaptable with a penchant for innovation and a keen eye for emergent trends, regulatory environment, and fast-evolving policy context with willingness to learn on the fly
  • Proven ability to prioritize and organize effectively to manage contemporaneous priorities and deliverable.
