Job Description (JD) for the Community Mobilizer Skill Development Projects Job Purpose: To ensure timely formation of training batches through effective community engagement, outreach, and BTL marketing activities for various skill development programs and other vocational trades under Samarth Bharat initiatives. 1. Community Mobilization & Outreach l Conduct regular field visits in nearby communities, schools, markets, and villages to identify and motivate potential candidates. l Organize door-to-door campaigns, street meetings, and awareness sessions with parents and youth. l Build strong relationships with local leaders, NGOs, panchayat members, and influencers for candidate referrals. l Maintain a database of interested candidates and ensure their timely enrollment and follow-up until batch formation. 2. BTL (Below-The-Line) Marketing Activities l Plan and execute localized promotional activities to increase awareness of training programs, such as canopy setups, pamphlet distribution, wall paintings, announcements, and street plays. l Coordinate with the central communication team for printing and placement of promotional materials. l Capture photos and videos of all activities for documentation and reporting purposes. 3. Candidate Counseling & Enrollment l Counsel youth and parents on course benefits, career prospects, and available job opportunities. l Assist in completing registration formalities and collecting necessary documents (Aadhaar, photo, certificates, etc.). l Support in conducting orientation sessions and batch inauguration events. 4. Coordination & Reporting l Coordinate closely with the training center team to align mobilization targets with batch planning. l Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on outreach and mobilization progress. l Maintain a record of BTL activities (date, location, photos, reach estimate, and cost details). l Provide data inputs for monitoring, MIS updates, and funder reporting. 5. Branding & Institutional Partnerships l Facilitate tie-ups with schools, ITIs, RWAs, local businesses, and youth clubs for candidate sourcing. l Support branding efforts by ensuring proper display of organization and partner logos during all field activities. l Represent the organization during events, job fairs, and placement drives. Qualifications & Experience Education: Minimum 12th pass; Graduate preferred. Experience: 13 years in community mobilization, field outreach, or skill development/CSR/social sector projects. ¢ Language: Local language proficiency is essential; basic English preferred. Skills Required ¢ Excellent communication and convincing skills. ¢ Ability to plan and execute BTL activities effectively. ¢ Familiarity with social media promotion (WhatsApp, Facebook, etc.) for mobilization. ¢ Good coordination, reporting, and record-keeping ability. ¢ Willingness to travel extensively within assigned areas. ¢ Self-motivated, target-driven, and community-oriented mindset. Preferred Attributes ¢ Experience in NSDC/CSR-funded skill programs. ¢ Local area familiarity and good network within communities. ¢ Energetic personality and interest in youth development.
